The Client Services role is required to support our clients with the delivery of their water and wastewater infrastructure project requirements. The role requires the individual to provide product and order support to our external clients.

The individual must be professional at all times and demonstrate a strong focus on effective communication along with a proven ability to identify relevant product solutions to assist with fulfilling business objectives.

Client Services work closely with our internal operational and general management teams, other client service team members, administrative team, account/business development executives, logistics and product managers.

Regular interaction is required with a range of external stakeholders including our clients, specialist third party vendors, project specific stakeholders and others.

This Role

Client Services responsibilities include the following tasks and duties;

Sales Support

  • Providing sales and product support to clients/stakeholders for Clover products and services;
  • Providing timely product/availability/order status information to clients;
  • Managing client project deliveries;
  • Employing a consultative solution based selling approach to maximise sales and profitability outcomes through an in-depth knowledge of company products, services and unique value proposition;
  • Building and nurturing strong long-term business relationships with clients/stakeholders;


  • Preparing detailed accurate and simple to understand quotations for the NSW & ACT territories in accordance with company requirements;
  • Regularly updating the status of opportunities within the NSW/ACT CRM opportunity register;


  • Meeting client deadlines and exceeding service level expectations;
  • Managing your time and a willingness to take ownership of delivering client’s needs;
  • Attend and participate in industry trade shows, training and networking events;
  • Managing competing priorities and to deliver outcomes within agreed time frames and quality standards;
  • Taking reasonable care of the health and safety of themselves and others whilst complying with all company policies, work health and safety guidelines;
  • Cooperating with Management and OHS representatives in complying with quality, safety and environmental requirements;
  • Contributing to a harmonious work environment across all departments and branches;
  • Other agreed ad-hoc tasks as required by the company.

The Ideal Candidate

The Client Services role requires experience and skills in the following areas;

  • Experience with the delivery of customer service in the supply of products to the water/civil industry;
  • Knowledge of the Australian water/civil infrastructure market;
  • High-level interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Highly structured and organised approach to planning work and managing time;
  • Relationships with key industry stakeholders is advantageous;
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills;
  • Microsoft suite skills required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ Years’ experience working in a role with a high level of customer service necessary and if this is specifically within the Australian water/civil industry this would be advantageous;
  • Experience working in a team is advantageous;
  • Strong Computer literacy required;
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel required;
  • Knowledge of MYOB CRM is advantageous.
